OMG....Jesus's birthplace...
OK, so I don't believe in Jesus, God or whomever... But what a completely different city this is. We took a bus from the center of Jerusalem in order to safely cross the "check point" into Palestine. We then walked through the local shuk and arrived at the Nativity church (AKA: birthplace).
At the entrance, as Yanick attempted to speak Arabic to the security guard at the entrance (... Hahaha sukran Yan, sukran!!),
After asking us where we were from, the security guard told us that rather than waiting in line to see the "birthplace", to go in via the left side (aka: the exit!!).
Well, none of us really wanted to skip the line but, since he told us...well we did.
Nothing really extraordinary for us but people really were " moved by this place. OK, so we came, we say and... We left!
Everything was being restored there anyways, but we are happy we came.
